Normandy Camporee

Welcome to the information page about the information square at the Normandy Camporee. Do we need a page like that? Yes we do. First of all we would like to explain what we mean with Information Square at a Camporee. It is not, as you might think, a permanent visitors’ center where you can go and get directions or information about all the activities and things to see and do at the Normandy Camporee. To accommodate guest with questions like that, we have the Normandy App.

At the Normandy Camporee we use the term Information Square for a place where we showcase a lot of different activities, events, groups and initiatives that have to do with Scouting. Not only BSA Scouting but worldwide Scouting activities. The Square will be open on Friday evening the 19th of April, 2024. We will have big pavilion available, where we host for instance a booth with information about Wood Badge, a booth about NYLT, the Order of the Arrow, about Messengers of Peace, about Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC), summer camps, sustainability, World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and much more Scouting-related information on display. Please visit our presenters that will be there for our Scouts, Scouters, volunteers and other interested parties, to show and tell what Scouting has to offer in Europe, in the US, and beyond.
