Normandy Camporee
April 19-21, 2024
What to expect
Our program will again be filled with exciting offerings to make the most out of your stay at this historical site.
But first of all, we have to stipulate that it is your event and you can spent your time any way you want. We are only trying to add program items to accentuate your trip, but if you want to spend your 3 days wandering around the beaches or seeing as many museums as you can, that is totally fine with us. We are deliberately trying not to provide a program you have to follow from the first step to the last. Feel free to make your choices and cherry-pick those that best suit your tastes.
On Friday 19th of April, 2024 we will have a reception to celebrate our successful fundraising campaign for Normandy, with exclusive access to the Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mère-Église. (How do we know you might wonder? Because we have faith in our community).
On Saturday we will of course have our Campfire at Omaha Beach, our top-achievers reception, our radio station at the D-day museum, ceremonies in Bayeux, LaCambe and other areas.
On Sunday our grand closing ceremony of the camporee will take place at the Normandy American Cemetery.
And lots and lots more. There has been talk of reenactors, of guided bus tours and free coffee. Stay tuned and don’t miss any step in the making of this great event.
