Normandy Camporee

April 19-21, 2024

Changing Lives Reception &

Camporee Sponsorship

The Normandy Camporee organized by Transatlantic Council (TAC) has evolved into a key recognition and remembrance of the historic event of 6 June 1944.    The 2024 event will be the 11th Normandy Camporee – with previous camporees held in 1994, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2022.  TAC has been recognized by the Republic of France as “Custodians of Omaha Beach”.

Changing Lives Reception

During an extended weekend over 19 to 21 April 2024, the Normandy Camporee will gather thousands of young people from around the world to learn from each other, celebrate Scouting values, foster friendship, and reflect as Messengers of Peace.

Building off previous Normandy Camporees, TAC will ensure that this event cascades to the 100th anniversary of the D-Day landings and beyond – so future Scouts and Scouters can attend and benefit from this transformational event.
