BSA Calendar of Religious Observances (multi-year)

Councils, Districts, and Units should take care to avoid planning events and training on major holy days such as Easter, Yom Kippur, and Eid Al-Fitr. Be aware of dietary restrictions such as fasting periods like Ramadan and Lent. Avoid always offering training or events on Shabbat when observant Jews cannot often attend. Use the calendar to help determine when a holy day would be a scheduling conflict, and when it would just be nice to acknowledge, when you have Scouts of particular faiths.
