Covid-19 Updates

The safety of our youth members, volunteer leaders, staff, and employees continues to be the most important part of the Transatlantic Council (TAC) Scouting experience.
In a world situation in flux, we remain most deliberate with our decisions regarding program delivery. Coronavirus (COVID-19) has ever-changing impacts. There are some early signs of improvement in certain parts of Europe, while other countries continue to struggle with increased levels of infection.
TAC is also subject to restrictions –on local travel, international travel, and gathering sizes –imposed by the countries where we host programs, the countries where our Scouts and staff reside, and the US Dept of Defense for its overseas personnel.
So, what does all this mean for your face-to -face unit programs? What should you do as a local TAC Scouting unit volunteer? For your unit activities, we encourage you to remain strongly committed to the most important factor in any TAC Scouting event—the safety of your Scouts, parents, and leaders.
