Operation Bridge

Transatlantic Council, Boy Scouts of America

The purpose for Operation Bridge is to provide a natural move for Webelos Scouts into Boy Scout Troops. The award must be earned and applied for no later than 30 June of each year. Processing of the award will take 7 to 10 business days. Each Webelos who bridges into a Boy Scout Troop will receive a strip, which is worn centered below the right pocket and below other authorized strips. Webelos Leaders, Cubmasters, and the Scoutmaster will receive a patch which is worn centered on the right pocket.

Requirements

A roster of boys with names and pack number and troop number must be listed with this form. To qualify four different requirements of the six must be met between September 1 and June 30 of the program year.
  1. Plan and conduct a joint activity between Webelos Scouts, their parents, and a troop. Date Completed
  2. Webelos Scouts visit a Troop Meeting. Date Completed
  3. Scoutmaster visits a pack meeting on talks about the troop's activities. Date Completed
  4. Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster visit a Webelos Den Meeting and assist in the completion of the Arrow of Light. Date Completed
  5. Troops assists the Webelos Den in a Webelos-Adult partner overnight campout. Date Completed
  6. The Scoutmaster or Assistant participates in the Bridging Ceremony. Date Completed
