  • Cub Scout BB Gun & Archery Range Master Course
    Saturday, April 21, 2018
    Vogelweh Rod & Gun Club
If you are interested in becoming a range master for Cub-scouts then this is your opportunity. Come to the Range Master certification course for BB gun and Archery hosted by our very own Super duper awesome NCS range master, John Strehl. Attendees must be age 18 or older and the pocket certification is good for two years. The best part is the course is FREE. Attendees MUST bring with them printed pages from the Shooting Sports Manual (pg. 73- 96). This is the only tangible course material and is necessary for the program. The time requirement is set by National BSA standards and attendees must be present for the duration. Feel free to bring a lunch as there will be room and time in the class to eat. Students need not have had prior experience, and the more volunteers to run ranges the safer and more successful they are for the kids!
*Not a required part of the course, however after classroom time there will be an opportunity to shoot and apply and learn additional coaching methods. The students will be responsible for the cost of this, and eye and ear pro are required (it is available to rent if you do not have your own).
