Delft Pirate Camp-in

Charlemagne District is holding a Delft Camp-in featuring a pirate theme on the Saturday.
The Camp-in is open to all Cub Scout families (including parents and siblings) from the Charlemagne district and surrounding areas.
The Camp-in is limited to 76 persons with places secured on a: first paid = first confirmed basis.
This Cub Scout family camp-in has been run every year since 2015 most years being booked out and having to allocate extra spaces.
The Scoutcentrum Delft features fully furnished indoor areas for activities, eating, cooking and bunk beds for sleeping.
No formal activities are planned for the Friday night but several small ad-hoc activities may be organized, and a small campfire may be lit. Saturday morning shall feature a series of activities some of which may be based around rank achievements, however the activities will lead up to the recovery of a pirate treasure. All adults and children attending the camp-in are expected to participate with the camp pirate theme.
The property was a gunpowder storage facility built in 1660, but since 1964 has been run in cooperation with Scouting Nederland. There are electrical sockets at the center and some internet, but please try to keep the use of electronic gadgets to a minimum. The Scoutcentrum has a fully equipped indoor kitchen with dishes, cups, silverware, dining facilities, activity rooms, dormitories with bunk beds, shower and toilets.
