Intercamp

Intercamp is an independent organization the conducts an annual international event in Europe.

The Transatlantic Council, representing the Boy Scouts of America, was one of the 9 founding National Scout Organizations (NSO) to form the organization.    Today, 10 or more NSOs bring together more than 3,000 Scouts annually for a super camporee-style event.

The event is conducted annually on Whitsun weekend, 7 weeks after Easter.

Participation is limited based on NSO, and the number of adults is specifically limited base upon the number of youth participants.

2019 was the last time Intercamp was held due to COVID-19 restrictions. Plans are now in place for Intercamp 2022 to be held in the Alsace region of France June 4-6, and Intercamp 2023 to be hosted at a location in Germany.

The Transatlantic Council has a representative on the Intercamp Committee. Peter Grunau also serves as a member of the Council Executive Board.
