The Transatlantic Council - Europe is committed to make available the BSA's most unique Scouting experience to families living overseas through creative programming and insuring qualified trained adult leadership. The council recognizes its special role of instilling and reinforcing the American values of patriotism and citizenship while fostering a better understanding of other countries' cultures and traditions.The leadership and volunteers of the Transatlantic Council will strive for continued excellence and be ever demanding of achievements to that end.

The Transatlantic Council was recognized with the Quality Council Award by the Boy Scouts of America for outstanding operation, balanced membership growth, strong fiscal management, and excellent program delivery.  The council has received this award for eleven consecutive years.

The Transatlantic Council strives to offer youth, families, and communities an outstanding program delivered by trained, committed volunteers. We will offer a council camping program, district and council activities, training courses, advancement support while supporting unit leaders with active, trained commissioners.
